IoT Security Engineer

Our security team is responsible for the application and network security across our services, cloud and data center infrastructure monitoring, managing internal and external shared services, and infrastructure services – all with the mission of securing for our customer-facing SaaS products and platforms. As a member of our Security Team, you’ll work closely with development teams, product managers (PM), and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure that our products and infrastructure are secure.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in pentesting as per OWASP IoT Top 10, SANS Top 25, WASC, NIST, and SANS Security Guidelines.

• Experience in both commercial and open-source tools like OWASP Zap, BurpSuite, Nmap, Acunetix, Qualys, Kali, Metasploit etc.

• Knowledge of current IoT security threats. • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS etc. • Knowledge of Public key infrastructure, Remote Access and VPN.

• Knowledge of Remote attestation, OAuth and JWT.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Layer, IPv4 & IPv6 Network Protocols, and Wireless Communication.

• Knowledge of application development processes and at least one programming or scripting language.

• Understanding of coding best practices and standards. Good To Have

• Experience with bug bounty programs.

• Experience in IoT Solutions (e.g. WiFi, BLE, LoRaWAN, OpenThread, CoAP, MQTT)

• Experience in container management solutions (e. g. Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, ECS) Responsibilities

• Build threat models and conduct risk assessments.

• Coordinate and execute the testing plan. Support red/blue team exercises.

Assess emerging vulnerabilities and aid in mediation and remediation.

• Ensure security defects are documented and tracked for all releases, project initiatives, and major technology, and process changes.

• Supporting the bug bounty program by reviewing incoming vulnerability reports and reproducing issues, assessing the severity and impact
